Organization Feature: Honolulu Beerworks

In 2014, Geoff Seideman and his wife Charmayne opened Honolulu Beerworks, a neighborhood craft brewery in the heart of Honolulu, HI. From the beginning, they focused on using unique and locally sourced ingredients in the brewing process, bringing barrel-aging, Belgian-style farmhouse ales, and seasonal fresh-hop beers to the growing Hawaiian beer scene.

Their primary goal is to bring incredible beers and food to Honolulu through their brewpub, all the while supporting their local community, and they have accomplished that in spades! Honolulu Beerworks has gone out of its way to support not only local ingredients for their food and beer, but also support great causes and nonprofits through their business. They participate in national brewery charity campaigns such as the Pink Boots Society Collaboration Brew Day as well as supporting charities such as The Surfrider Foundation.

The Next Swell is incredibly excited to announce that Honolulu Beerworks has agreed to support our charity in our upcoming Save Our Seas Silent Auction. They will be donating a gift bag to be auctioned off, with 100% of the proceeds going towards The Next Swell’s scholarship fund. Additionally, we are looking forward to future collaboration with the Honolulu Beerworks team through our events.

If you are ever in the Honolulu area, make sure to check out the Honolulu Beerworks brewpub on Cooke Street in Kaka’ako for some great food and even better brews!
